A fills 1/6
B fills 1/8
C empties \frac{1}{12}
Net work per hour
= (1/6 + 1/8) - 1/12
= 10/48
Total work to be done
= 3/4
Time taken (in hours)
= (3/4) / (10/48)
= 36/10 hours
Convert to minutes
= 36/10 x 60
= 216 minutes

Answers to this kind of questions can be made easier to navigate if we give a value to the capacity of the tank.
Here let's take capacity to be 100 Ltrs
In 1 Hour: A, B and C (A and B pumping in and C pumping out) will fill the tank as per below
100/6 +100/8 -100/12=250/12
Let X be the number of hour it will be needed to reach 3/4 th capacity filled in tank
3/4*100 Ltrs= 250/12 (Capacity in ltrs filled in one hour) * X (Number of hours)
Solving for X, X+(75*12/250)=3.6 Hours= 216 minutes
Here let's take capacity to be 100 Ltrs
In 1 Hour: A, B and C (A and B pumping in and C pumping out) will fill the tank as per below
