15 + (TOTAL - 50) = WON

WON = TOTAL - 35

WE NEED TOTAL to find WON

(1) tells us that TEAM A won 11 of the last 12 games, but does not tell anything about the total number of games. we only know that TEAM A played at least 62 games: TOTAL >= 62 NOT SUFFICIENT

(2) useless information, virtually telling us the same thing that the problem statement is saying. the only info we can get here is that the fiftinth victory has happened either in the 49th game or 50th game.

Bunuel. Can you please look into this ? I think the maximum game that can be won would be 61 if we consider A as the answer.
The actual answer to this should be E as there are many possibilities.

After winning 30 percent of the first 50 games it played, team A won all the remaining games it played. How many total games did team a win?

(1) Team A won 11 of the last 12 games it played.
(2) Team A won 14 f the first 48 games it played.

Not sure how you're getting this, but the answer is E. For example, if the team played 100 games, it won 15 games from the first 50 and 11 games from the last 12. Out of the remaining 100 - 50 - 12 = 38 games, it could have won any number from 0 to 38, inclusive.

Thanks for the explanation Bunuel
