Can you please help me to understand what happens when we combine both the statements ?

\(What is the value of p?\)

(1) –|p| = −2:

|p| = 2. So, p = 2 or p = -2. Two different answers. Not sufficient.

(2) p^2 – 4 = 0:

p^2 = 4. So, p = 2 or p = -2. Two different answers. Not sufficient.

(1)+(2) Even when combining, p = 2 or p = -2. Two different answers. Not sufficient.

Answer: E.
