If q + r + s = 45, what is the value of qr?
(1) q = r = s
(2) q − r − s = −15
(1) q = r = s
(2) q − r − s = −15

Given q + r + s = 45.
Stat 1: q = r = s then we get 15 each...then rq is 225...Sufficient.
Stat 2: q − r − s = −15 => q+15 = r+s
=> From question stem we get q+15 = 45 -q => 2q = 30 => q = 15.
30 = r+s here we are not sure exactly about the value of r...Insufficient.
IMO option A is correct answer...
OA please...will correct if I missed anything..

Consider 1) \(q = r = s\) and this gives \(q = r = s = 15\) and Hence sufficient ,Either A or D
Consider 2)\(q − r − s = −15\), this with \(q + r + s = 45\), gives \(q\) , but not \(r\) and \(s\). Hence Eliminate D
Answer is A
