If \(ab > 0\), what is the value of \((a + b)^2\)

(1) \(a^2 = 4\)
(2) \(b^2 = 1\)

(1) No information about b. Insufficient

(2) No information about a. Insufficient.

Considering Both:

Either ab both are negative or ab are positive. For either case the value of \((a + b)^2\)=25; Sufficinet.

The answer is C
