ABC is a triangle with BC = AC = 6. D is a point on AB. What is the length of CD?
(1) ∠ACB = 120◦.
(2) CD is the bisector of ∠ACB.
(1) ∠ACB = 120◦.
(2) CD is the bisector of ∠ACB.

It should be C.
Statement 1: This provides us no information about D.
Statement 2: We need at least 3 parameters to accurately measure a triangle and with length of two arms, we have no way of measuring the original triangle ABC.
Combined, we should be able to measure the original triangle and its equal split at D.

the given triangle is isoscles traingle...
stat1 : no info on location of D
stat2: not suff to calculte the length of CD..
both combines,,, triangle BCD is 30-60-90 and hence CD= 3..
