we know that a+b+c = 180
1. b > 75, which means a+c <=105 , but we do not know how much is the value of a. Insufficient.
2. c > 95, which gives us a+b <=85. This tells us that a cannot be greater than 85. Sufficient.

(1) b > 75

IMO B sum of any triangle is 180 and according to first statement b>75 can be 80 or can be 100 if its 80 then a can be 85 but if 100 then it can't be greater than 85 so insufficient
In statement 2 things changed we know c >95 then can be minimum 96 the sum of other 2 angles is 84. if sum of both of them is 84 the how can a single angle is greater then 85 so B is sufficient.

as we know sum of angles in triangle are 180

95+85 = 180 so a can't be >85

sufficient

Is a > 85?

(1) b > 75
For statement 1 lets assume b>75 then some of a+c must be smaller than <105 in this senario a can be greater than 85 or can't be
Insufficient
(2) c > 95
For this C>95 , some of other side of triangle a+b <85 so surely a must be less than 85
Sufficient
