(1) 6 < k - 0.6 < 7 ... add 0.6 to all sides of ineq 6 + 0.6 < k < 7 + 0.6 6.6 < k < 7.6 Hence k > 6.5 Sufficient (2) let k be 6.6 6.6 + 0.8 = 7.4 ( rounded to nearest integer is 7) so k must be greater than 6.6 hence greater than 6.5 also! As per question we want to find K>6.5

I) solving yield 6.6<k<7.6
Sufficient

II)value needs to be min 6.7 so as to +0.8 would yield 7.5 which will round up to 8 as integer

Can anybody confirm For statement 2 "

Range of K+0.8 should be what ?

7.5  \leq  k + 0.8  \leq  8.4
 7.5  \leq  k + 0.8  \leq  8.5
I think it should be the first one , as for 8.5 nearest integer is 9 and not 8 . Thank you.
