If a bicycle has two wheels one twice as wide as the other, at how many meters per second does the larger wheel rotate?

(1) The smaller wheel rotates at 3 meters per second.
(2) The smaller wheel makes 10 rotations per second.

We are looking at speed in terms of m/s..
Twice wide would mean twice the dia and so twice the radius..
So \(r_s*2=r_l\)
Now the distance covered will be in terms of the circumference and the circumference of larger will be twice the circumference of smaller so if we are looking at ROTATION per minute, larger will have HALF the rotation..

But here we are asked mps and since the distance traveled in a certain time would be same for the two wheels, the mps would be SAME

(1) The smaller wheel rotates at 3 meters per second.
So larger too is 3mps
Sufficient

(2) The smaller wheel makes 10 rotations per second
We can just say larger wheel makes 5 rotations per second. But nothing about radius, so
Insufficient

A

Hi, The distance travelled is the same but the time taken is different. I can't understand. Can you please elaborate???
