I solved the question as follows - >
st.1 -> r +r + p =180 ----- (1) & p + q + r = 180 ------ (2)
-> q = r . ---- (3)
Now putting this in Equation (1)
q + q + p =180
now Subtracting this from equation (2) we get -> p = r --- (4)
Using (3) and (4) -> we get p = q =r .
Thus all angles are 60. hence p = q = 60.

So i got statement 1 as sufficient .

Can Anyone please help as to where i am going wrong ? Bunuel

The red part is not correct. You get the same q = r there, not p = r.
