(1) \(\frac{1}{4} < \frac{1}{\sqrt{a}} < \frac{2}{3}...............\frac{1}{4} < \frac{1}{\sqrt{a}} <\frac{1}{ \frac{3}{2}}\)
Thus, \(4>\sqrt{a}>\frac{3}{2}\), and since \(\sqrt{a}\) is an integer, \(\sqrt{a}\) can be 2 or 3.
Therefore, a can be 4 or 9.
