The options contradict each other
I arrived at B in 50 secs and the rest 2 minutes I was looking at the options then at the author of the question: The option contradiction and the author contradicted each other : )))

Bunuel

For integers m, how many positive perfect cubes would be less than m?

(1) 4 < m^2 < 990

(2) 31 < m < 65

Aren't the statements still contradicting each other? Since it is given that m is an integer m^2 can not be any value from 961 - 990 (It can be either 961 or 1024)

i) 2 < m < 32 - max value of m can be 31

ii) 31 < m < 65 - min value of m can be 32

There is no overlap of integer m in the 2 statements.
