try A = 4 B = 1/2 and C= 8 , so yes ,,, the product is even
try A = 1/2 B = 4 and C=1/2 , so No,,,, the product is 1 , which is oDD

St 1 A*B= Even but C is not given it can be an integer or rational or irrational or decimal So Not sufficient

St 2 B*C= Even but A is not known it can be an integer or rational or irrational or decimal So Not sufficient

St1 + St2= Same Logic

So E is answer

I guess an easy way to deal with problems that don't specify if the numbers in question are integers is to substitute irrational numbers.

For eg., in this question, simply put in A=B=C= sq. root of 6. It will satisfy both statement 1 & 2 and still not be sufficient.
