What was the median annual salary for the employees at Company X last year?
Statement 1 : Last year there were 23 employees at Company X.
no information about the salaries of any of those 23 employees . insufficient
Statement 2 : Last year 12 employees at Company X had an annual salary of $24,000.
no information about the total no of employees and salaries of the other employees. insufficient
Combining Both Statements :
Last year there were 23 employees at Company X and 12 employees at Company X had an annual salary of $24,000.
since, we know the equal salary of 12 employees , the rest 11 employees's salaries are not required to find the median (12th ) salary. sufficient
answer C
