Question: Is Point Y on Circle? OR is OY = 2?
Statement 1: OX = 1
No information about placement of point y hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: XY = 1
If x is very close to boundary then y may be inside the circle, on the circle or outside the circle hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
COmbining the statements
OX = 1, XY = 1
If Points O, X and Y are collinear then Y will be on the circle
If Points O, X and Y are NOT collinear then Y will NOT be on the circle
NOT SUFFICIENT

To find/prove: y lies on circle
Statement 1: distance between O and X is 1
(Nothing mentioned regarding Y) (Not Sufficient)
Statement 2: distance between X and Y is 1.
Y could be towards circle circumference or inside circle. Not sure that Y definitely lies on circle. (Not sufficient)
Statement 1 and 2: Y could be any point on circle or inside circle.
