Hello one prompt question, regarding this question , statement A says, "Exactly 6 of his coins were minted in 1910 or 1920", so in the beginning I thought that all 6 of them were either minted in 1910 or 1920 , only by combining both statements I realized that eg.3 could have been made in 1910 and the other 3 in 1920 etc. , so I was wondering, how would the wording be if we meant that all 6 of them were minted in a single year 1910 or 1920?

6 of the coins were minted in the same year, which was either 1910 or 1920.

6 coins were minted in 1910 or 1920 means each of the 6 belonged to one of these 2 years.
6 balls were red or blue means each of the 6 was either red or blue.

We need both statements as they individually fail,

1910 = a
1920 = b
1930 = c

a+b+c = 10 -------- (1)
a+b = 6 -------- (2)
b+c = 7 -------- (3)

Now solving the equation:

(2) + (3) - (1)

a+2b+c = 13
a+b+c = 10

We get,
a=5, b=3, c=4

We get a clear answer, C is our answer

1910+1920 = 6 then 1930 = 4

1930+1920 = 7 then 1910 = 3

which means 1920 = 3
