The table above shows the discount schedule that a health club uses to determine the percent discount given to a customer who purchases a membership before the health club opens for business. If a customer purchases a membership with a pre-discount price of $1,200 how many months prior to the club's opening did he purchase the membership?
(1) If the membership had been purchased one month sooner, the price of the membership would have been $120 less
(2) The customer paid $900 for the membership

Statement 1:
Adding one month increases the percentage discount by 10%. This can only happen on the 1st month or 3rd month according to the table, so insufficient.
Statement 2:
The customer received a 300/1200 = 25% discount, so the customer can have the 2-month or 3-month membership. Insufficient.
Combined:
Combined the customer must be on the 3rd month. Sufficient.

$120 less means 10% of $1,200. So if difference between two consecutive months shall be 10%.
Herew we have two choices.
From 4 or 5 months to 2 or 3 months = 10% (35%-25%)
From 2 or 3 months to 1 month = 10% (25%-15%)
