Statement 1) x + y + z is a multiple of 6
Let x=0,y=1, and z=11
0+1+11=12 is a multiple of 6
xyz=0 and 0 is not a multiple of 6.
Let x= 3, y=4, z=5
x+y+z= 3+4+5=12
xyz =3*4*5= 60 is a multiple of 6.
Statement I alone is insufficient.
(2) x, y, and z are consecutive integers
0*1*2=0 and 0 is not a multiple of 6.
1*2*3=6 and 6 is a multiple of6.
Statement II alone is insufficient.
Combining both statements
x=1, y=2, z=3
1+2+3=6 and 1*2*3=6
OR
x=3,y=4,z=5
3+4+5=12
xyz= 3*4*5=60 is a multiple of 6.
We are getting a YES everytime.

IMO - answer is B
Thats because (x-1)(x)(x+1) (considering all are integers) has to be divisible by 6. Even 0 is divisible by 6.
