Hello!

Here, a clothing store sold a certain brand of shirts for X dollars in April, and for Y dollars in May.
If the store's total revenue from the sale of the shirts last May was 73 percent less than its total revenue from the sale of the shirts last April, was the selling price of each of the shirts sold last May less than the selling price of each of the shirts sold last April.

How are we assuming the clothing store did not sell shirts from any other brand in April and May. If that's the case, the answer should be E, right?

(No mention of selling only a certain brand! | If clothing store sold only a certain brand of shirts for X dollars in April, and for Y dollars in May, then we can go with Answer A )

Hi sherlocked221B, when it is given that store sold a certain brand of shirts, this essentially mean that the question only talks about 1 brand (a certain brand means just that).
When you go to a shopping mall to buy a piece of shirt of a certain brand, can you say that you bought a shirt of multiple brand or just one brand !
