Statement 1: 321 girls didn't pass the test, which is the number of boys that did.
Total = 990
Girls didn't pass = 321
Boys passed = 321
Girls Passes + Boys failed = 990-(321+321)
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: Boy's didn't pass = (1/5)*totalTotal = 990
Boys didn't pass = (1/5)*990 =198
SUFFICIENT
