this is clear cut answer choice is E since St1 doesn't provide anything about A and B so it is not sufficient
and St2 given B-A but requirement is actual value of A and B so that we get diffence because % is multyplied by price like P(1+A/100) and other is P(1+A/100)(1-B/100) so it is also not sufficient answer E because combining these two we didn't get anything

Correct Answer: E (Statements 1 and 2 TOGETHER are NOT sufficient)

FORMULA SETUP:
- Last year price = P
- Sale price = P * (1 + A/100) * (1 - B/100)
- Savings = Last Year Price - Sale Price
- Savings = P * [(B - A)/100 + (A*B)/10,000]

Target: Find unique dollar value for Savings. Need P, (B - A), and product (A*B).

STATEMENT ANALYSIS:
- Statement (1): P = 250. Missing (B - A) and (A*B). INSUFFICIENT.
- Statement (2): B - A = 5. Missing P and (A*B). INSUFFICIENT.

TOGETHER:
Savings = 250 * [5/100 + (A*B)/10,000] = 12.5 + (A*B)/40

TEST CASES (B - A = 5):
- Case 1: A = 10, B = 15 => A*B = 150 => Savings = 12.5 + 150/40 = $16.25
- Case 2: A = 20, B = 25 => A*B = 500 => Savings = 12.5 + 500/40 = $25.00

Multiple possible answers => TOGETHER INSUFFICIENT (Answer Choice E).
