Hi,

what are you saying is not true, I would say almost at all. If you do have a high level of English language you can pick the right answer, for instance, when you face the question

the underlined word is closest to the meaning of which of the following words

even if you do not know exactly the words. Why ?? because your level is high and you can drawn the right answer from the context itself.
