which one is more accepted? TOEFL or IELTS in case of MBA? I need some insights..thanks in advance.

I think the answer to that questions is region-specific

If you are planning to apply to schools in the US - TOEFL is your exam
If you are planning to apply to schools in Canada/Europe - IELTS!

I think the best step is to check with the schools you intend to apply in and 
take a call based on which score is accepted in all the schools you plan to apply!

For pursuing MBA in USA apart from GMAT you can take up any IELTS/TOEFL exam.

Though GMAT is not mandatory but still it is preferred if you are aiming for the top institutes.

But if i talk about the IELTS/TOEFL these are definitely mandatory but nowhere any college mentions that they have a preference attached to only one particular exam. Generally it is the students mindset, that if they are planning for USA then they opt/ prefer taking TOEFL exam. Though IELTS and TOEFL both have equal acceptability.
