Yeah, it looks like a typical course outline for an MSF program. You will have modeling throughout the program and especially within the financial modeling class.

In short: Absolutely not! Analyst, associate, mgmt consulting etc. is also career possibilities. Its a quantitative heavy degree, and thus all careers where strong analytical thinking and a flair for numbers is sought after qualities are positions you can apply for with an MSF.

MS in Finance really just gives you a heads up against other competition. So if you want a sales job, you'll probably more than likely get hired for it.

Just because you have a MS in Finance doesn't guarantee you anything. The things certain in life is death and taxes.....death...and taxes :)
