Hi,
I graduated with a B.S in General Biology at the University of Washington, Seattle last year (2014), but I am trying to switch careers into Finance.
Naturally I began to do some research for an MS in Finance. I am going to list my qualifications and a list of schools I am interested in, please let me know if the schools are within reach!
Undergrad: UW Seattle, B.S in General Biology (2014), GPA: 3.06
Additional education: UC Berkeley, Base Program (2014), intensive 6 week business course of non-business majors (accounting, marketing, organizational behavior), GPA: 3.465, A- in Accounting.
Extracurricular:: One year as a Korean Student Association Officer at UW, Seattle and 3 years of volunteering at a non profit health clinic.
GMAT: 720
Work experience: Marketing Intern at Microsoft for one year (this was during my senior year of high school), Marketing intern at a small Seattle IT company and lastly I will be starting a Amazon entry level associate job in July.

Boston College
University of Illinois
Washington in St. Louis

Great GMAT. GPA is ok, but you get points for being a bio major. Good brand names on your resume for internships also. I'd apply to Claremont, USC, Vanderbilt, WUSTL and BC. Maybe pick U Illinois as your safety. JHU and ASU aren't going to help you break into finance as much as the other schools I listed. You have a good profile so I would imagine you'd get into a handful of the programs I mentioned. Get good recommendations.
