Hi everyone,
I just finished my 3rd year of undergraduate studies at a top Canadian business school (Ivey/Schulich/Queen's), and am planning to apply to a top MS Finance program in the UK and US.
My goal is to get a role as an Investment Banking Analyst at a Bulge Bracket bank in Asia (originally from Mainland China). I'd appreciate if anyone could evaluate my profile and give their thoughts on my situation.
Profile:
cGPA: 3.7/4.0 (Finance and Econ major)
Experience: investment banking summer analyst in DCM starting in May (wealth management and research analyst internships at small firms previously)
Also spent a summer as a project director for an NGO in South America
GMAT: Started preparing, and aiming for a score above 700
Prospective Programs:
1. LSE MSc Finance and LSE MSc Finance and Accounting
2. Vanderbilt MS Finance
3. Columbia University MSc Financial Economics
4. Warwick MSc Finance
So far, these are the schools I am interested in applying. I am leaning heavily towards LSE due to its Asia presence. How does my profile stand?
Thanks in advance.
