Hey there!
I am 21 Indian Male.Had a score of 79.83% in 10th standard and 80.83% in 12th standard(first rank in the class).Graduated in Commerce with 8.35 GPA from a prestigious university in India.
Coming from a small village didn't had much exposure, though managed to secure an Internship in Marketing Management, where I lead a team of 10 people. Achieved good results there.Participated in some case study competitions too.
Also, I have volunteered in three NGOs and made some significant contribution in one of them.
Recently started my GMAT prep journey. Aiming for a 740+.
Target College: Insead MIM, HEC Paris, LBS, University of St. Gallen.
Future Vision: Aiming to become a consultant.
How is my current profile?
What is the minimum GMAT score at which I can make it into the above mentioned colleges?
Also, things you would suggest me to do, if any.
Aiming for the Aug,2024 intake.

So, I do think you have a good chance, given a good score and a good consultant that can guide you the way.

ajitmishra_1 - HEC Paris (MBA) alum here. Some thoughts on your profile and queries:
1. Acads (10th/12th and GPA/ undergrad pedigree) are fine. While there's no standard minimum GMAT score, aiming for 10-20 points above your target school's average can help, given the Indian Male applicant perspective. Your target score (740+) would be good.
2. Where you haven't mentioned much details on the internship (e.g. role, key achievements/ projects etc.), two interesting points are the Marketing aspect (i.e. what did you learn from it) and managing a team. Make sure to quantify the impact of your tasks/ activities in the internship.
3. Have well thought-through pointers to: why consulting, which domain within consulting, why you (i.e. vs others), and how your past learnings can help. These can help craft compelling essays.
4. If you are keen on consulting, picking up a project e.g part-time consulting for a start-up or NGO etc. can differentiate your profile, as it would demonstrate your hands-on interest in the field beyond what a certificate or words can say. Ofcourse, this isn't mandatory. As long as you can balance your GMAT prep and other things with the project, I'd suggest considering it.
