Hello everyone, I am studying for the gmat and plan to go to top MBA school of U.S in the year 2014 , can someone tell me when should I give my exams next year, so as i have ample time for submission of Sop's and other formalities without being rushed.I am an Indian having my own business with a work experience of 2 + yrs.

If I were you I'd start studying as soon as possible and take the GMAT as soon as you feel you are ready. I studied two months for my first attempt and am now in the process of studying for my re-take. Since you plan on applying for 2014, you should probably try to get the GMAT out of the way as soon as you can so that you can focus on other aspects of your application. Just my $0.02.

In my opinion,, you should take it by the end of this year. That way, even if you plan to re-take it later, you will have enough time to prepare again and take it before July. Next year, you would want to focus on your application in Aug/Sep so try to get GMAT out of your way before that.
