Hi,
I am a software developer with 1.9 years of Work experience in India.I want to go for Master in Business Administration(MBA) in consullting, finance or general management.
I am really interested to work long term at US,Canada or Europe.Regarding Europe visa restrictions have gone up and I think they don't sponser work permit.
At US also I have heard about new regulatory norms being implemented which really emphasize that getting jobs is really tough out there too.
Don't know much about Canada but there visa restriction is less as compared to US or Europe.
My questions is " Despite what the job market scenario out there is, should I go for GMAT and try to get into top B-schools ,considering I want to work long time in there only and not in India"?
If I should then-:
2.) How are Canada's B-schools like Rotman and Schulich for consulting and general management ?Also going through the US b-schools Texas Mays B-school seemed to me good in terms of cost and class size.Don't know much about it's alumni network and average placements for international students.I am not looking at the Ivy league as they will incur a huge cost which I really cannot bear.
Thanking in advance for your replies.
Regards
Rishab
