Thanks AbhiJ. You guessed it right. I am heavily depending on scholarship/fincial aid, also i want to get in some good college. I will take your advice and try my best to bump my score. Please let me know that should i consider H1B quota as a deterrent for applying to US colleges. I know even though there is a cap for H1B, still every year number of applications increasing, but that makes me think the chances of not clearing lottery(for H1B post MBA) will also increase. Are you aware of cases where students have actually been in such a problem.

i don't want to sound like a pessimist, but i always feel better to be sure than sorry. MBA being a big step forward, and the stakes involved make me feel a bit cautious.

The best case scenario for you would be to get a 760 on the GMAT and be admitted to Top 20 school, even without scholarship, many school offer without US Cosigner loans. Once you get admitted at these schools getting H1-B should not be deterrent. However I am not 100% sure about this and only any current international student at these schools should be able to offer you the clear picture.

If you are able to get full scholarship at 20-50 ranking school, you will hedged as in worst case you can come back to India.
As far as Canada and EU is concerned, my vote would go to Canada. Having said that the number of opportunities in Canada is substantially less when compared to USA.
