Hi Experts,
I decided to start preparing for GMAT about two weeks ago and aimed for MBA from one of the top international b-schools. I need at least three to four months to prepare for GMAT exam and start appliying but I see that I am already late now because most of the top ranked universities(like HBS, Wharton, University of California Berkeley etc.) have round systems for application process that are ending in April 2015 or before.
I have 4+ years of work experience and I feel that I am already late for MBA. So I want to get into a good business school coming year 2015 itself. But getting to know that all top ranked b-school deadlines are ending in April 2015 or before has demotivated me a little. Seek experts' advice in this regard.

Take ur GMAT exam by 15 Dec 2014 and if you get respectable score, apply for R2 starting in January 2015. You will need 15 days to prepare your essays as well.
This is the only way you can apply for MBA next fall.

If you are applying to top 10 schools, and you *just* started preparing for the GMAT and you don't think you can score over 700 in the next month, then I do agree that you are a bit late to apply this cycle. The later in the rolling admissions process you apply, the less seats there are in the class...which makes it more competitive as time goes on. It seems like you might just need to start preparing and apply for the next cycle year unless you can take the GMAT in December and hope for the best.
