Dear All,
I have been 7 years of work experience, now i want to take GMAT, Iam based out of new Delhi and wanna study along with my job and prepare for GMAT. My maths is good but want to make it excellent and grammar is good but i wanna improve of my verbals as well. how shall i study when shall i take my exam and how shall i check my progress. iam aiming for 720+ so kindly help me with suggestions as much as possible.

Since it sounds like you're just starting out, it's important to define your timeline and plans so that you can study effectively. You've already defined your score goal (720+), so I'ld like to know a bit more about your goals:
1) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
2) Do you know which Schools you're planning to apply to?
Regardless of how you plan to study for the GMAT, it's a good idea to take an initial FULL-LENGTH practice CAT test, so that we can get a sense of your strengths and weaknesses. You can download 2 free practice Tests (and some free practice problems) from www.mba.com. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take the Test in one sitting. You might want to do a little bit of prep work before you take that CAT, but it's not a requirement.
Once you have those scores, you should report back here and then we can put together a study plan.

I have not decided the college but i know the course i wanna take up for my MBA in Marketing or strategic Marketing, will take up the test over the weekend and will report my scores here.
