Hi viper1991,

Like Rich, I'd also like to know more about how you studied for the last 6 months. While you put in a lot of time in terms of the months you dedicated, it's important to consider the number of hours you spent, the materials you used, and whether or not you were able to see regular process over those 6 months.

Best,
Rich

Hi

my First attempt to gmat was 540..after studying for 6 months.

Is it possible for me to improve and score above 650 in another 6 months ? i.e if i give my second attempt after 6 months?

Is it possible to improve from my 540 to 650+ in 6 months?

Hi viper1991,

You can certainly make that kind of improvement but 6 months may be too much time. If you shorten the time frame and work efficiently you can reach your goal and also avoid burnout. Study every day for a set time period, take regular practice tests to measure your learning progress, and work on your weaknesses in addition to building on your strengths.

Good luck!
