Which scores should I submit? Take test again?

Hi All. Looking for some guidance on which scores to submit and if I should take the teat again

My three scores to date are:
680: 39Q / 44V / 8IR
700: 44Q / 41V / 6IR
700: 48Q / 38V / 4IR

My quant has been increasing, but my verbal Is going down. Not sure what's happening! Any advice appreciated.

From these three scores, it looks like that you're definitely capable of going beyond the 700 mark. So, I'll definitely ask you to retake.

If you ask me about the scores that you should report, I'll say report both 700s. It'll give the admissions team a clear idea that you're good at both Q and V.

When did you take these three tests?
It seems that you are focusing only on Quant since test 1. I suggest you to retake after practicing Verbal and IR too. A 730+ certainly seems probable.

Hi cb02,

First off, a 700/Q48 is an outstanding score (it's right around the 90th percentile overall), so you can apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, a retest is probably not necessary. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

If you do choose to rest though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied for each attempt at the GMAT?
2) What study materials have you used for each attempt?
3) On what dates did you take the Official GMAT?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
