Hello All,
I have given 800 score test and I am scoring 500-530 with Q42 and V18-20 in 800 score test. Is it a good reflector of the actual gmat.
The last to last test I have given was a month ago and it was MGMAT and I scored 590 in that with Q42 and V30. Verbal seemed okay of MGMAT
Is 800 score a good predictor off actual score. Please help.

Firstly, Rely on the scores from official CATs - GMATPrep & Exam-Packs.
Here is my personal opinion on other algorithms:
gmatclub scoring algorithm is very good. Personal opinion. Quant is tougher than GMAT.
MGMAT - Verbal scoring is +3 points extra you may consider and Quant scoring -2/3 points from what you can get on GMATPrep. QUANT is tougher than GMAT.
800Score - I dont rely much on the scores provided by these CATs. Quant questions are ok to practice.
Quality of MGMAT verbal questions is reliable so it is good to take these CATs. because not only you learn but you practice test taking as well. also MGMAT scores can be relied upto some extent. they have brilliant analytics as well. so do take a look after the CAT.
Take the CATs from other prep companies to learn/practice test taking and learn from the questions as well. and take GMATPrep on right intervals to actually gauge your ability.
official CATs:
GMATPrep--- (1 & 2) - free
Exam Pack-1 (3 & 4) - buy
Exam Pack-2 (5 & 6) - buy
Question Pack - BUY - It is a Set of 404 question - Make the set of 37/41 question and take as a CAT. You will not be given a score though.

The scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. Since that algorithm is proprietary, no GMAT company has an exact match for it, thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. The most realistic CATs available are the 6 from GMAC (the 2 free CATs, and each of the 2 that come with Exam Pack 1 and Exam Pack 2), so it would be useful to know how you performed on one of those CATS. Once you have that score result, you should post back here and we can discuss the results.
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) What is your goal score?
