Can you let me know how much can I expect in final exam. Any Suggestion for last 2 weeks of preparation.
(Not posting GMAT PREP scores because they are highly inflated in my case )
Thanks.
Hi
prasanths89,
Are you done with all GMATPrep's from 1-6?
Follwing might be your final day story.
Quant: 49-51
Verbal: 28-36
GMAT: 630-710
GMAT algorithm is different. test is adaptive and scores depend on whether you played with the algorithm or it was vice versa.
First 10 questions in Quant are very important. But sometimes test starts with high difficulty level questions. As i see Q51 in veritas, i am sure you can nail them down. so Q49-51 is all think you can get. if there is a horrible question in first 10 then just leave it without being stuck on it. there will be 2 experimental questions in first set. Also marking 1 non experimental question wrong would keep the accuracy at 86%, so still good.
In verbal first 10 and last 10 are both very important. Just focus on these and then i think you should be able to maintain score V30+ score.
for last 2 weeks preparation, i would suggest look at the official questions only. Look at those tricks or traps that stumped you. this will help you not to make the same mistake again.
for example: there is a quation 2x/x^2 = 1 for which x=0 or x=2 but we forget that x is placed at denominator and hence x=0 is invalid. (though this is very basic one but can take a toll in stress)
Revise official questions only and learn from them and earlier mistakes. That's it. Take 1 or 2 CAT if you want to.
Please post if there is any followup question

P.S.- Do not focus on predicting a score. If you do not score +/- 30 to the target score then you might cancel the score immediately or with a fee of $25 in 72 hours. Later you can reinstate that score with $50 fee.
