Thank you souvonik2k and Rich for the feedback.

I will definitely be looking at Egmat, Empowergmat and Economist. Also, I hear the Manhattan programs are good.

As for my plan:

1) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
I don't have a specific time in mind, it all depends on how ready I think I'm.
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
It'll probably by after next 5 months
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
I'm targeting the top schools but I have yet to narrow it down based on class composition. Mainly looking for schools that have more work experience applicants.

Thanks again,

Hello all,

I've taken the GMAT twice a few years back and scored 550-590 respectively. I'm seeking to have a go at it again and improve upon my scores to reach 670+.

In the past, I've taken the Princeton review and veritas before taking the tests. I believe the best approach that I'd improve my scores is that if I enrolled in a class room/tutoring type of GMAT preparations.

What would you guys recommend as the best options available? (cost is not a concern).

Thanks in advance,

Hi...

Moving from 590 to 670+ should not be a problem, if you are giving yourself some time.
a 590 means you are generally clear with basics and a 670+ would require choosing the best methods/tips/tricks. I am sure you will be able to reach the target.
So first realize your weaknesses( you can get a general idea through your previous attempts) and then work on them .

Hi Sontawila,

You've given yourself plenty of time to study - which is good. Since the first of the 'new format' CATs should be available some time in the next few weeks, I suggest that you study as you see fit until those CATs become available - then plan to take one in FULL and in a realistic fashion (take the FULL CAT - with the Essay and IR sections, take it away from your home, at the same time of day as when you'll take the Official GMAT, etc.). Once you have that score, you should report back here and we can discuss how best to proceed.
