Hi souravkayal,

It sounds like you've put in some study time already. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi souravkayal,

Earlier this month, GMAC made a formal announcement defining some changes that will be taking place to the format of the Official GMAT (which began April 16, 2018). These changes primarily impact the overall length of the Exam (meaning the number of questions in the Quant and Verbal sections as well as the amount of time that you’ll have to complete each of those two sections). In theory, a shorter Exam could make it easier for a well-prepared Test Taker to score higher. From your posts, it's not clear whether your 2 CATs were in the 'old' format or the 'new' format. If you have not taken a CAT in the new format yet, then you should plan to take one soon. Both MGMAT and Veritas have converted their CATs to the new format and GMAC is planning to release an online platform with Official CATs soon. Once you have that next Score, you should post back here and we can discuss how best to proceed.

Raising a 430 to a 680+ will likely require at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. By extension, you might need to consider pushing back your Test Date.

1) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

Hi souravkayal,

It looks like you just set up your EMPOWERgmat Account. I've sent you a PM with some questions; we can continue discussing your studies privately if you like.

I have taken the Princeton review classes. But my quants are really weak and English Cr and rc. I want to chose a good online program for two months before I take the test.

Can someone suggests which program online is good and also in budget.

I read a lot of empowergmat. Is there anything better ?

Also are there individual admission consultants who can help ?

Looking for some advise on how to.progress ?
