Hi All sayantanc2k abhimahna GMATNinja bb souvik101990 gmatexam439,

I've been using Veritas mocks for the last one month now, but my verbal scores are not improving. My last 3 scores are V37, V37, and V36. In all these tests, I barely finished the verbal section and skipped 1 RC in all of them.

My main issues are:

1) Not able to complete the verbal section (always skipping 1 RC at the end completely). This affects my performance in SC and CR as I end up skipping a few easy questions, because of the messed up timing.
2) RC accuracy is around 50%. Consistent in the last 3 exams. I feel RC questions are a little weird and are not representative of official questions. My accuracy is 80-90% in official GMAT Prep RC, but I am not able to replicate the same in these mocks.

I am stuck at 700/710 level. Can anyone please their experience with Veritas Mocks? What would be great is if you can tell how you performed in mocks vs the real test?

I am not able to figure out if the RC is not good in Veritas or if I need to improve. Also, not being able to finish the verbal section is a bit concerning for me. I am skipping 1 RC and a few CR/SC questions in every test, always rushing towards the end.

I know the focus should be on official questions/mocks, but since I've already exhausted official mocks (all 1-6), I am relying on the non-official mocks to practice the timing strategies in verbal. If anyone has any suggestions on what else I should be doing in the last 3 weeks before the test, I would really appreciate it. Currently, I am doing GMAT Prep PDF files for practice and veritas mocks on weekends.

Please advise! Thank you!

SD

Hi bro,

Personally I am not a great fan of Veritas and I don't recommend using its mocks also.
Here is a piece of advice:
1. Opt for MGMAT CATs if possible.
2. To push your score start solving LSAT questions.

Practising LSAT questions will help you understand the convoluted language.

I hope that helps.
