Hi MAcc95,

I’m sorry to hear how things went with your GMAT. Given that you scored higher in quant on your practice exams, it’s quite possible that nerves, stress, tiredness, or a combination of all three negatively affected your test-day performance. However, it’s also possible that in your preparation, you did not really learn to do what you have to do in order to score high on the actual GMAT. Rather, you picked up on some patterns that were effective in getting you relatively high scores on practice tests. So, to hit your GMAT score goal (which I believe is 700+), you probably have to adjust the way that you’ve been preparing.

I’m happy to provide some further advice on how to go about your quant prep but first would like to learn more about your situation with the GMAT. Once you respond to the questions already asked, I can provide some detailed advice.

Also, you may find it helpful to read this article about how to improve your quant score.
