Hi balaji0603,

If you're not planning to take the GMAT until September, then you've given yourself plenty of time to study - which is good. If you have not taken any practice CATs/mocks yet, then doing so would be a logical starting point. Once you have that first CAT result, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hi balaji0603,

I’m glad you reached out, and I’m happy to help. Since you seem to be starting from scratch, I agree that you should familiarize yourself with the GMAT and then take an official GMAT practice exam. Once you take that practice exam, you will get a better sense of your starting point as well as the finish line.

Regarding resources, you should check out some of the success stories of past GMAT students as well as reviews of various GMAT prep courses to see what prep materials have worked for other test-takers.

Lastly, you may find it helpful to read this article about
how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Feel free to reach out with further questions.

Good luck!

Hi balaji0603,

It is good that you want to plan your studies. This article on Working Professionals' Study Plan will help you do that. I also see you are looking for a course to prepare from. While reviewing the courses you must look at the following factors:
1. Will the course work for you? Look at the free trial resources of various courses out there and evaluate their teaching methodologies. Choose the one which suits your needs.
2. Is the course proven to deliver success to students like you? – Look at the reviews of courses out there and see what others have to say and then decide.
