For a person with 13 years work ex from a core industry is it possible to get into iim or isb with the requisite score

ISB is a tough bet, since average class of ISB has experience around 5-8 years. But yeah IIM's have this years of exp

Hello Anshuman,
Ideally European bschools are best if you have more work ex. But to answer your question,
IIMs are safe schools. Infact, their exec MBAs have min. 5 yrs work ex, so 13 shouldn't be an issue. Just quote leadership abilities and times where you had a huge role in some profit making deal etc.,
ISB however, tries to place people and they want you to explain in details about your long term and short term goals. Why MBA in first place and why now?
Let's say if you got a story that is indeed some sort of a journey , say from coding to data science to middle management etc., then you can shape your essays well and even ISB is also possible. But it certainly depends on how well you craft it.
