Strategies and Resources for Improving Geometry

Question

I'm currently testing at a 49-50 Quant score and have realized that my biggest weakness by far is geometry. I almost never get the "700" level geometry questions right, and struggle with the 600-700 level questions. I think my biggest issue is the intuition of recognizing where to draw lines and manipulating the pictures. After realizing the solution I think oh that's clever, but it does not come naturally to me like the intuiton does on most other topics. Any recommendation on how to improve this skill? I'm willing to do anything, watch videos, practice problems etc.

Many Test Takers become too fixated on the 'implied level' of the questions that they're working on - instead of what really matters: defining WHY they're getting questions wrong and becoming more efficient at approaching the overall Exam. It's also worth noting that just because a 3rd party describes a question as "700 level" does not necessarily make it so.

Since Geometry is a smaller category on the GMAT (compared to much larger ones such as Algebra and Arithmetic), the GMAT question writers 'build' their Geometry questions around a handful of established formulas and a few patterns (which you might not immediately know, but can fairly quickly deduce if you're willing to do the necessary work on your pad). How well do you know the various rules and patterns behind triangles, circles, graphing, etc?

The idea that upper-level Geometry questions are keeping you from scoring a Q51 is dubious. On EACH of your last 3 CATs, how many Quant questions did you get wrong and how many of them were ones that YOU would consider 'upper-level Geometry?'
