Give it a day, ESR option will appear. You can get an ESR for a cancelled score as well.

Hi NitishKumar,

I don’t think it’s necessary to start from scratch; however, can you provide some more information about how you prepared for your GMAT? For how long did you study? What resources did you use for your prep? Once I learn some more about you I can provide some further advice. You also may find it helpful to read the following articles:

Why Was My GMAT Score Lower Than My Practice Test Scores?

Hi Scott,

I've started my prep on February 2020 on magoosh and learnt the concepts, but I couldn't continue it because of my College Exams. However, I started preparing again from June 2020 ( so, it's been 2 months of continuous prep) - watched GMATNinja Tutorials, attended Multiple test prep companies webinars and practised official guide questions from GMAT club with timer. I got Q49-51 scores whenever I took the official mocks or GMAT club quant tests, so I didn't prepare for it as extensive as I did for Verbal.

Is it a right step to re-take my GMAT in the next 15 days?

Hi NithishKumar,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) Over the last 2 months, how many hours did you typically study each week?
2) Over the last 2 months, on what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) What are the exact application deadlines that you are facing.

While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). Since you have purchased the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you. If you would rather not post it publicly, then you can feel free to PM it directly to me.

Hi EMPOWERgmatRichC,

Studies:
1) Over the last 2 months I have studied for 4-5 hrs/day.
2) I took 2 mocks every week if I am getting enough score or else I took only one per week
GMAT Prep 1 - 620 (Q50 V22)
GMAT Prep 2 - 680 (Q50 V31)
GMAT Prep 3 - 690 (Q50 V31)
GMAT Prep 4 - 730 (Q50 V40)
GMAT Prep 5 - 750 (Q50 V41)
GMAT Prep 6 - 740 (Q50 V39)

Goals:
1) Being an Indian male engineer, I an trying for 730+ to make a competitve profile.
2) I want to apply for LBS MIM and HEC MIM programs. R1 deadlines for both are 30/09/2020 and 20/10/2020 respectively. R2 - 04/11/2020 and 06/01/2021 respectively. I am planning to apply in R1 If I'll have enough time for applications and better chance for scholarships.

Please, let me know the necessary steps I must take to reach my goal score and how should I approach my further exams.
Also, Is it a right step to take my GMAT in the next 15 days again?

Thank You.
