So, I'm currently in a Manhattan Prep Course for the GMAT and I'm taking the GMAT in March. I just took a practice exam today for our course and I scored a 460 on it whereas I scored a 570 in the first practice exam I took in December. Is that normal? I've been doing the homework assigned for the course but I know I need to work on my word problems for math in general and just work on my math because my quat is very weak. Any suggestions to help and is that normal? Lowkey freaking out about whether I should take the GMAT vs the GRE now.

Score progression on practice CATs/mocks is rarely linear - and the MGMAT CATs are generally regarded as being a bit tougher than the Official GMAT (meaning that a drop on this 2nd CAT isn't necessarily a 'bad' thing). In addition, many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so you should not expect to have mastered any of the content or Tactics just yet. There are also a variety of external factors that can impact your performance (such as the time of day that you start the Exam, how well-rested you are, the environment, etc.), so you have to consider the circumstances under which YOU best perform.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) What type of study routine have you been following? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
