Hey
I took the GMAT yesterday but did not get the score I was aiming for. I have received my results and can send them to up to five colleges. However, I am unsure if it would make a significant difference. I’m confused about whether I should give a second attempt or apply to the colleges.
Which all good colleges can I apply for with this score? Need suggestions.

Thanks for writing in.
Your query is a bit subjective in nature because the choice of schools will not depend on GMAT alone; it also depends on your overall profile including your professional background, years of experience, and proposed goals.
Having said the above, if you are looking at applying to the top notch schools around the world, and (very) broadly speaking, you might want to retake the test as a 595 will be on the lower end of the spectrum.

Akkiiii - I would recommend retaking. Make sure that you hit solid metrics, before taking the test (or a mock test). If you focus on building ability, you will find the test a lot more predictable. You have time till R2 deadlines.
