Hey there,
Well, there's no doubt that an FT program comes with more prestige, and just as (or even more) importantly the active, constant help of the Career Office to land you something sweet after graduation, which is something you will miss out on if you do the PT program, in which in most cases, if you are looking for a change you will have do a LOT more of the legwork yourself. The involvement differs a bit from school to school, so you should really check out (with the admissions office AND with past students) what sort of involvement they take if you are to do a PT program.

Anyhow, you have thankfully started thinking about this early enough that you can do research, speak with people, visit even, and roll these questions around in your head (as well as perhaps jockey for more money from your employer???).

Let me know if there is any other way I can help,
Best,
JF

Jon, thanks for the additional input. I'm going to start doing a little more legwork, since I do have plenty of time to go until my decision. I will make sure to reach out again if I have any questions and more so if I have any need of your services! Thanks so much for all of the help!
