Hi. I would like to have some advise about how my current profile stands and what range ( ranking ) of schools should I consider applying.
- 24 year old Bangladeshi Male.
- Graduated in EEE from BUET ( Its the best engineering school in the country) with 3.72 CGPA
- GRE score 331 ( 164 Verbal (94th percentile) + 167 Quant (94th Percentile)). AWA- 3.5
- TOEFL score - 116 ( Reading-28,Listening-30,Speaking-28,Writing-30)
- Currently working in for Grameenphone, the biggest Brand in Bangladesh ( Its a business unit of Telenor ) for 1.5 years
- Was within the top 10 Management Trainee of Telenor Group and worked for a month with Digi in Malaysia
- Promoted after 10 months, became Project manager. Lead a team of 10 internal employees and other vendors to roll out 250 3G sites in deep rural areas. Resulted in 10% increase company's footprint and 25% growth in data revenue from those areas.
- Now working as the Risk Manager in a joint project with Huwaei & Ericsson for Network Transformation
Extra Curricular:
- Founder and Core Member of Shikhkha Desher Jonno, a non profit platform for University students to spread education in ruaral areas.Covered 20 schools and 3000 kids so far.
- Founder of VisioNXT , a non profit platform aiming to connect young engineers with entrepreneurial aspirations with probable customers. 2 startups have already successfully found customers.
- VP of University Career Club
- Played for University Soccer Team and Badminton Team
- WOn the National Math Olympiad in Primary ( 2nd Runner Up) , Secondary ( 1st Runner Up) level
Post MBA goals : Start my own startup / social business preferably in an emerging economy like Bangladesh.

Hey there good sir!
So your profile looks mighty nice. You have a lovely GMAT and a great GRE which is a solid basis. Your TOEFL is fantastic too.
One thing was not clear to me though was your work experience. How many months work do you have total? 1.5 years? It seems like you have more but I can't exactly figure out from your post what you did when and where and for how long.
So if you can get to me with some clarifications on that, I'll be glad to help you out.
