Okay, got it. The way it was written it sounded like you meant take MIM courses as a way to prepare yourself for the MBA compared to working full-time.

Yes, as an MBA alternative, it is a viable option. Many people are opting for "alternative" MBA degrees such as a Masters in Information Management, Masters in Finance, Masters in Business Analytics, etc. If cost is an issue, then these can be quite attractive. Plus, the bar to entry is lower. That being said, you should realize that such a degree won't be held in the same regard as an MBA, the networks are not nearly as strong, and post-masters opportunities are not quite as broad or attractive as an MBA.

Like any choice, there is a trade-off, so keep that in mind as you consider whether the MBA is worth it or not. You have a fantastic profile with some real potential so try to see the long-term when thinking about this decision. You are quite young and have lots of options are your disposal.
