That all makes sense to us. Definitely retake the exam. I would, however, just wait on ISB Round 1. If you do better on the GMAT, you'll want that better score as part of your application. If you can get a 750+, that will matter a lot more than applying in R1. The advantage of R1 over R2 (which is debatable to start) is significantly lower (if that) than R2 with a higher GMAT score.
